    Webster Dean Brown, of Malvern, passed away at the age of 94 on June 7, 2014. He was born on September 27, 1919 in Poyen, AR.
    Webster was preceded in death by his parents, Webster and Rosa Brown; four sisters; two brothers; and the love of his life, Dorothy McCloud Brown, to whom he was married for 25 happy years. He lived alone after her death for 13 years.
    Webster is survived by four step-children who dearly loved him, Homer (Marie) McCloud, Dorena (Joe) McCloud Kitchens, Marvin McCloud, and Blane (Shirley) McCloud; ten grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
    Webster was a member of Francois Baptist Church. His favorite thing to do was reading his Bible and listening to gospel music. He always tried to live according to God’s word. He served in the Army during WWII and retired after 17 years. He returned home and worked as a dump truck driver for Sheridan White Rock for many years.
    The visitation for Webster will be held at Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM with funeral services on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Atkinson Chapel at 10:00 AM with Bro. W.A. Dillard officiating. Burial will be at Lindsey Poyen Cemetery with full military honors.
    Pallbearers will be Jason Byrd, Glenn McCloud, Terry McCloud, Bobby Russell, and Michael Burton.
    The family would like to thank his mailman, Rick Fitzhugh, the nursing staff at Malvern Hospital who loved him and provided him with the best care, and the Malvern Nursing Home staff.
